WHAT WE BELIEVE

GODHEAD

There is One God who manifests himself as Father, Son and Holy Ghost (Deuteronomy 6:4-5)and his name is One. (Zechariah 14:9, Ephesians 4:6)

The Lord Jesus Christ is the son of God and the savior of the world (Luke 2:11, Titus 2:13, John 4:42, & 1 John 4:14)

The Lord Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh.
(1 Timothy 3:16, Mathew 1:23, John 20:28-29, Isaiah 9:6, Revelation 1:8, John 1:1, John 1:14)
And that all the fullness of the Godhead is in the Lord Jesus. (Col. 2:9)

GOD’S HOLY WORD

The Holy Bible, particularly, the King James Version, is the word of God and anointed by the Holy Ghost. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, Psalm 12:6)

Salvation

Salvation is by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8) and is the gift of God and not of works (Ephesians 2:9, Romans 4:2-8)

You must be born again by the Spirit of God (John 3:5-7, Romans 8:9, John 4:24) Salvation is obtained by repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ.

(Acts 20:21) Faith in his precious blood washes and cleanses us from our sins. We believe the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ cleanses the soul from sin. (Leviticus 17:11, 1 Peter 1:8–19, Ephesians 1:7, Colossians 1:14, 1 John 1:7, Rev. 1:5 & Hebrews 9:22) We receive the knowledge of salvation by the remission (pardon)of our sins. (Luke 1:77) The inward evidence of salvation is the direct witness of the Holy Spirit to our spirit. (Rom 8:16.) The outward evidence is a changed life to that of righteousness and true holiness. (Ephesians 4:24, Titus 2:11–12) We know that we are saved because our sins are forgiven. (Luke 1:77)

God saves us for all eternity and will never leave us or forsake us. (John 10:28–29, Hebrews 13:5, & Matthew 28:20) If we deny God, he will deny us. (Luke 12:9, 2 Timothy 2:12, 1 Cor. 10:12 & 2 Peter 2:20–22) These are two truths that are taught parallel in the Holy Bible.

God would have all men to be saved and is not willing that any should perish.
(1 Timothy 2:3–4, 2 Peter 3:9)

Water Baptism

We believe that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in Jesus Name! (Luke 24:47) Baptism by immersion in water in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, is the commandment of God, revealed in his word. (Mathew 28:19, Acts 4:10-12, Acts 2:38,

Acts 8:16, Acts 10:48, Acts 19:5, Col. 3:17, Acts 8:38-39 & Mathew 3:16)

Holy Spirit Baptism

The Baptism of the Holy Ghost is for every believer and is God’s commandment and promise. (Mathew 3:11, Mark 1:8, Luke 3:16, John 1:33, Matthew 28:20, Luke 24:49, Acts 1:4-8, Acts 2:38 & 39)

Speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit gives the utterance, is a sign from God of the baptism of the Holy Ghost and is for every believer today.
“... Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed?” (Acts 19:2)

Gifts of the Holy Ghost

That miracles, healing and the gifts of the Spirit of God are available and still in operation in the church of the Lord Jesus Christ today. (Mark 16:17-20, Galatians 3:5, 1 Corinthians 12:1-10, Hebrews 2:3-4)

The Church

The church was created by the Lord Jesus, purchased and is owned solely by the Lord Jesus Christ and one day he will present it to himself, by himself. (Mathew 16:18), (Acts 20:28, Hebrews 1:3, Ephesians 5:27, & Revelation 4:11) The church of God is one church, one body of Christ.

Holiness

We must cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. (2 Cor 7:1) That without holiness, no man shall see the Lord.

(Hebrews 12:14)

ESCHATOLOGY

That the Lord Jesus Christ will return to earth one day with his holy angels and will catch away his church in the air to meet him and ever be with him. This event is also known as “The Rapture” (1 Thess 4:13–18). The Lord will return to earth with all his holy angels and judge the nations. (Mathew 25:31) The Lord will return to earth and reign a thousand years. (Rev. 20:4-6)

That there will be a great judgement where men will be judged according to the deeds done in their body in their lifetime on the earth. (Romans 14:10, 2 Cor. 5:10, Acts 17:31, Hebrews 9:27, Revelations 20:11-15)
